SaveAbilene is not a political organization and we have no ties to any party, candidate, or campaign. We live here, we work here, and we refuse to watch this city get extracted without a record being made of it. We welcome people from every background, every political persuasion, and every walk of life. If you care about what is happening to Abilene, there is a place for you here.
We are actively looking to bring more people into this project. Researchers, writers, community organizers, data people, people with connections to local government, people who just want to help document what is happening to their neighbors. Reach out.
